1. Data Controller

The operator of this website is RiverGardenCo (rivergardenco.eu). This is a static informational website. No user accounts exist and no personal data is stored on the server as part of normal site operation.

2. Data Collected Automatically

When a page is requested, the web server may record the following technical information in its access logs:

  • IP address of the requesting device
  • Date and time of the request
  • URL of the page requested
  • HTTP status code returned
  • Browser and operating system (user-agent string)

This information is retained only as long as necessary for normal server operation and security monitoring. It is not used to identify individual visitors and is not combined with any other data sources.

3. Cookies

This site uses one first-party cookie preference record, stored in the browser's localStorage API (not an HTTP cookie), to remember your response to the cookie consent notice shown on the homepage. No value from this record is transmitted to any server.

No third-party tracking cookies, advertising cookies or analytics cookies are set by this site. If external resources (such as fonts loaded from Google Fonts CDN) are requested by your browser, those third-party servers may set their own cookies subject to their respective privacy policies.

4. Contact Form

The contact form on the About page operates as a client-side simulation only. No data entered in the form is transmitted to any server or third-party service. The form resets after submission and no record of your input is retained.

5. Embedded Content and External Links

This site displays images hosted on Wikimedia Commons (upload.wikimedia.org). When your browser loads these images, a request is sent to Wikimedia Foundation servers. The Wikimedia Foundation Privacy Policy applies to that request.

Links to external websites (government agencies, intergovernmental bodies, reference databases) are provided for informational purposes. This site has no control over and accepts no responsibility for the privacy practices of those third-party sites.

6. Your Rights

Under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and Polish data protection law (UODO), you have the right to request access to, correction of, or deletion of any personal data held about you. As this site does not collect identifiable personal data beyond server logs with limited retention, such requests are unlikely to yield substantive results. Enquiries may be directed via the contact form on the About page.

7. Changes to This Policy

This policy may be updated from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by a revised "Last updated" date at the top of this page.
